Place Settings

When planning your wedding and decorating your venue it is important to not just look at the centrepiece on your tables. If you are having a formal sit down wedding breakfast your guests will have assigned seating. If you want to make the type of impact that guests remember, pay special attention to their place setting.

I've been looking at some options, and there are a range of options for different budgets. Adding a charger plate may seem a minor detail but it can make a large impact. To buy these you could be looking at spending from 99p upwards. Here is an example of a beautiful place setting which I LOVE!

If your theme is vintage and your budget is a little tighter then use this doily idea!
Cut our plate sized circles in your chosen colour and theme and then add the doily on top. Finish it off with a accent menu card to remind you guest what s being served and some fun props.

If your having a more rustic buffet then this econg idea is gorgeous!
The designer Kelly Moore has used old newspaper folded into a fan shape and then spray painted copper. If you wanted to go a little more vintage then try tea bag staining old newspaper instead.

Traditional Princess

Many women would agree that they've been planning their dream wedding since they were a little girl. Although some details may still be the same, most of us have moved on from our Disney princess days. I looked into ideas of how you make the princess theme possible while keeping your day stylish, classy and not over done with fuchsia pink and glitter! So with this in mind I have put together a mood board fit for a princess.

DIY with Martha Stewart

While browsing the Internet for favour ideas I came across the Martha Stewart Weddings website -
I LOVE IT! There are so many different ideas and tips for your weddings and even downloadable templates for DIY projects.  http://www.marthastewartweddings.com/

Have a look at these cute little paper flower favours. Download the template and make them in any colour or material that suit your theme. Fill them with sugared almonds for a very traditional wedding favour.

If your on a budget and are looking at ways to dress your venue, look at these banner templates. Use different ribbons to change the look and make it more personal to your wedding theme and print on different coloured cards and papers. To make this vintage, print on flowery papers and use lace instead of string!

Country Wedding Containers

I was doing a little research into outdoor country/vintage weddings and found these! I think it is such a great idea to use old vintage cans and containers instead of the glass vases you may see everyday. You can find these in second hand stores, shops such as 'Homesense' or even use glass jam jars and milk bottles you have in the house. These make lovely arrangements for around the home. Why not use the flowers that are growing in your garden!

Beautiful Bouquet

I've been looking at ideas for my wedding bouquet and decided i wanted something a little different. Look at how gorgeous this is! I think this looks really unique especially if the diamante embellishments were replaced by vintage broaches  I ♥ ♥ ♥ the orchids and roses together. BEAUTIFUL
